Making deposits is simple. Using your computer or mobile device, you can take a photo and upload your check directly to your account from your online banking dashboard. It’s fast, secure, and completely free.
For security reasons, we strongly recommend that you do not send cash deposits via mail. Instead, visit any local ACE Cash Express, CVS/Pharmacy, Dollar General, Kmart, Rite Aid, 7-Eleven, or Walgreens store, with your Axos Bank for Nationwide debit card and ask to load cash into your account at the register.
Mobile Deposit from Axos Bank allows you to deposit checks into your checking or savings account using your smartphone or other mobile device, wherever you are and whenever you want.

If items are made payable to you or your order and you have not endorsed them, you authorize Axos Bank to supply any missing endorsements. You agree that all endorsements on items deposited to your account are genuine. Endorsements must be placed only in the area so designated on the back of an item.
ACH New Account Funding
ACH Funding will be posted upon final credit from the external bank. Generally, this means 2–3 business days after the new account is opened.
ACH Payments, ACH Credits, or Direct Deposit to Money Market Savings and Advantage Savings Accounts
When you set up an ACH Payment, ACH Credit, or Direct Deposit to your Money Market account or Regular Savings account with another bank, please designate “Checking” as the account type so we can process your request electronically.
Our Receipt of Deposits
In receiving deposits, Axos Bank acts only as your collecting agent and assumes no responsibility beyond the exercise of ordinary care. All deposits are posted to your designated deposit account conditionally, and only if the item is payable in U.S. dollars, subject to our receipt of final payment. If final payment is not received on any item you deposited to your account or that we cashed for you, or if any direct deposit, automated clearinghouse deposit, or electronic fund transfer to your account is dishonored by the issuing financial institution for any reason, you agree to pay us the amount of the dishonored deposited funds, and you authorize us to debit any deposit account with us of which you are an owner, without prior notice and at any time, for the amount of the returned item or other deposit. You also authorize us to debit your account for the amount of our returned item fee, any interest paid on the deposit, and any other fee we pay or loss we incur. We may also use any other legal remedy to recover the amount you owe us. We are not responsible for any transactions, including any transactions sent through the mail, until we actually receive and post the transaction to your account. We are not liable for the default or negligence of our duly selected agents or correspondents, nor for losses in transit.
